Chairman
Dimitri Moore was educated and trained as an architect, physicist,
and carpenter and is Chair of the US (15
Cities) and Atlanta Chinese Lantern Festival organizations, and of Moore
international Corp. a 40 year old diversified company, which has been
doing business in China, and as a consultant and advisor to Chinese
companies doing business in the United States and US companies doing
business in China for 20 years. Dr. Moore was the Senior Project Manager
for many 1996 Summer Olympics projects, and has 25 years of excessively
active urban development experience in Portland and the State of Oregon.
Dr. Moore has tutored and edited Dissertations
for domestic and international students from K-12 to graduate school in a
variety of subjects for 25 years. Moore’s titles attest
to results from national and international success in Science,
Industrial Design, Architecture, and, industrial, mechanical, electrical,
and structural engineering. He has conducted business in more than
37 countries and is known for an encyclopedic knowledge that solved
diverse problems in equally diverse industries.
He has provided long range products, planning, management, and technical
solutions for startups to Fortune 500 companies. The consummate
entrepreneur, Moore founded 37 companies and lost only one. He has
mentored new and expanding small and medium-size businesses worldwide
including the former Soviet Union for local governments and the US State
Department. Dr. Moore founded or co-founded many community, government,
education, business, trade, arts, and professional organizations committed
to cultural improvement, including the International Business Alliance
Group, the China Business Alliance, World Trade Center Conference Center,
Russian American Chamber of Commerce, City Code Enforcement, Business as
Art, US China Lantern Festival Corporation, Professional Continuing
Education programs, and, the International Business Certificate program
for the World Trade Center, Georgia Tech and Georgia State University.
President
Glendon Thompson,
M.Sc. Founder of Arcom Group Inc. (1989) and Hangzhou Arcom Business
Consulting Company (2006), specializes in cultural events, environmentally
friendly technology, intergovernmental and B2B relationships. He has lead
business and government delegations to China and has given speeches on
intergovernmental and ecological harmony in China. Trained as a computer
scientist and architect and of Jamaican-Chinese descent he has been
involved in several international events that promote cultural
understanding and peace. He exhibits his commitment to the international
community by his support of cultural events and NGOs in his native
Jamaica: his membership with the City of Atlanta Advisory Committee on
International Relations; his founding of the International Association of
Caribbean Organizations; his membership in the South African American
Business Association of the USA, Inc. and his membership in the National
Association of Chinese Americans. He co-produced the 2007 Atlanta-Chengdu
Panda Festival. He also took the Youth Ensemble of Atlanta to China
for their first eye opening visit and is co-producing the 2,200 year old Chinese Lantern
Festival for the first time in the USA in Atlanta. Mr. Thompson is the
representative for the USA tour of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Dazu
ancient artifacts.
