Executive Summary The global marketplace has established itself as a dominant force in economic development. To ignore the significance of the international market is to court economic failure. With the advent of the internet, global international trading has become simplified and yet more complex. One of the complexities is the cultural differences among international business partners. Understanding cultural nuances is essential to improving government relations and business opportunities. Recognizing this fact, the US-China International Investment Association (USCIIA) and the International Association of Caribbean Organizations (IACO) have organized the Global Fusion program to help achieve the goal of global peace through cultural understanding and economic development. Our mission is to exhibit a fusion of worldwide cultures to educate and inform while creating events of international significance for economic development. We intend to be proactive in producing business opportunities, creating jobs and enhancing intellectual enlightenment and cultural understanding. The first event of the Global Fusion programs will be held at the Oglethorpe University Lupton Auditorium on March 31, 2012 from 2:00 to 6:00 P.M. and will include speeches by businesses leaders, national and international government representatives and community leaders. The event will be embellished with cultural performances from Asia, Central America and the Caribbean. We respectfully request that you accept the challenge to actively participate in this truly remarkable event. Marketing Strategy Our target market includes Georgia consular and trade offices, local and bi-national chambers of commerce located in metro Atlanta, metro Atlanta international community, and metro Atlanta diverse ethnic population. In addition to media promotion in brochures, business newspapers, international newspapers, cultural newspapers and radio we will use social networking websites, ethnic organizations, business organizations, and other internet tools for our marketing campaign.
